In November 2015
KDS started the year with a Tennessee Williams' original, that took the audience down to the repressive Southern town of Two River County; Orpheus Descending. The tragedy follows the story of a lone musician Val who finds himself travelling down south and forming a relationship with a woman named Lady.
Being the first play of the year we always get a fantastic mix of the old and the new!
The Directors, James Ryley and Rory Smart, tell us about their experience:
A beautiful play that really needs months of study, was mastered by a devoted cast to produce a powerful play.
For the first time in a while, KDS did something in the KeeleSU ballroom. It had its challenges, but despite loud overheating lights it looked great!
